COVID Safety Guidelines are to help ensure that FIREtrain actively mitigate the risks of COVID-19 in line with the best available health advice.
Overview :
At FIREtrain, we are dedicated to taking every precautionary and preventative measure to keep our personnel and students safe. We review these measures against official government and health advice regularly to ensure we implement safeguards that meet the Australian Government COVID-19 Guidelines.
FIREtrain will continue to operate training courses with the following precautionary and preventative measures in place:
General Measures :
Basic Hygiene – we require that all FIREtrain staff and students follow the Department of Health guidance regarding personal hygiene behaviours such as handwashing and the frequent use of hand sanitisers, the daily cleaning of workstations, protective coughing/sneezing techniques and disposing of tissues hygienically. Physical distancing from each other of at least 1.5m so far as reasonably practical.
General Sickness – any staff member who exhibits flu-like systems is not permitted to enter FIREtrain premises or client premises until they obtain medical clearance that they are fit for work.
Travel (and regional travel) – FIREtrain staff who have recently returned from any international or interstate travel are required to follow the self-isolation requirements under the Australian Government COVID-19 Guidelines. FIREtrain staff are to follow the requirements of regional travel restrictions as applied by the WA State Government when imposed.
Covid contact – FIREtrain staff who have been in direct contact with a confirmed case of COVID-19 is not permitted to enter the FIREtrain premises or client premises and must monitor their health for 14 days in self-isolation under the Australian Government COVID-19 Guidelines.
Hygiene Products – are available and supplied by FIREtrain.
Staff attending client’s premises – all staff are to adhere to the requirements in place at any premises they attend.
Training Bookings :
FIREtrain will abide by the Australian Government COVID-19 Guidelines and WA State Government directives, and should a lockdown be imposed, all training will be postponed to a date that is suitable to the FIREtrain schedule and the client.
